Welcome to the Mandeville Primary School website. Here you will find useful information about our school and see how much we have to celebrate.
In February 2024 Mandeville was graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted - you can find the full report here . Our goal is to give all of our children an outstanding education, which allows each child to develop and succeed. We aim to foster a life-long love of learning and equip our children to be successful in the 21st century, through a creative and dynamic approach to learning that is engaging, challenging and fun.
We are very proud of our school and our wider community and have grown together to provide an amazing curriculum for all Mandeville children. We are always looking for new ways to improve and move forward and we work together with parents, carers, staff, governors, children and other stakeholders to ensure that we are constantly developing. We are fortunate to also be federated with Kingsmead and Gayhurst primary schools as part of the LEAP Federation; we have one governing body and one Executive Head who leads all three schools. This partnership allows us to share professional knowledge, expertise and resources, which benefits the communities of all three schools. We are delighted that this effective and successful close partnership has led to all three of the LEAP schools being graded Outstanding by Ofsted
We hope you find what you are looking for here. If not or if you have any further questions please do get in touch with us. We are always happy to help.

MISERY ACADEMY To celebrate Year 6's final week at Mandeville, parents and families were treated to their adaptation of the musical 'Oliver'. The story began at a horrible school, Misery Academy, where the children received nothing but gruel to eat and the teachers were incredibly strict. After being expelled from this school for daring to ask for more food at lunchtime, our protagonist, Oliver, found himself here at Mandeville. Unfortunately, however, he fell in with the wrong crowd: a gang of students who were stealing from teachers. Luckily, with the support of Marc and his colleagues, Oliver was able to work his way out of this tricky situation and find some real friends. The acting was of the highest quality throughout with moments of laugh out loud hilarity combined with some genuinely touching scenes. Whether they were in all of the scenes or just had a few lines, everyone on stage clearly knew what they were doing and how they could contribute to the overall performance. All of this was enhanced by some fantastic singing and choreography. It was clear that the children had worked incredibly hard to bring all of this together. At the end, they all received a well-deserved and rapturous round of applause. What a way to sign off on their time here at Mandeville! "I loved the bit where Malakai, playing Marc, started dancing on stage. It was hilarious!" Tidiane "It was great watching Jayden D's enthusiasm as he played the role of Dodger." Olive "When I jumped on the stage to stare at Mustafa P, playing Oliver, it hurt a bit but got a great laugh from the audience." Jayden D "My favourite song to sing was 'Where is Love' because it showed how well we could sing together." Semi "I had to be brave when walking up to the audience and 'threatening' them, but seeing their reactions made it easier." Emir Watching the Year 6 leavers' assembly was a mix of pride, laughter, and a few 'how did they grow up so fast? Jodie "The year 6 adaptation of Oliver Twist was fantastic! All the children stayed in character and had the audience belly laughing!" Katherine
