It was a huge success and we discussed a range of strategies to help  children read at home, encourage and foster a love of reading and how best  school and home can work together, to ensure children at Mandeville are getting the best  support with reading.

We practised using different resources to make recall of words fun and engaging for the children and tried out  asking and answering  reading comprehension questions.

Thank you so much to the  parents and carers who came to the session and   engaged so brilliantly and made it fun, too! We loved it!
