Welcome to the Mandeville Primary School website. Here you will find useful information about our school and see how much we have to celebrate.
In February 2024 Mandeville was graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted - you can find the full report here . Our goal is to give all of our children an outstanding education, which allows each child to develop and succeed. We aim to foster a life-long love of learning and equip our children to be successful in the 21st century, through a creative and dynamic approach to learning that is engaging, challenging and fun.
We are very proud of our school and our wider community and have grown together to provide an amazing curriculum for all Mandeville children. We are always looking for new ways to improve and move forward and we work together with parents, carers, staff, governors, children and other stakeholders to ensure that we are constantly developing. We are fortunate to also be federated with Kingsmead, Gayhurst and Grasmere primary schools as part of the LEAP Federation; we have one governing body and one Executive Head who leads all four schools. This partnership allows us to share professional knowledge, expertise and resources, which benefits the communities of all three schools. We are delighted that this effective and successful close partnership has led to three of the LEAP schools being graded Outstanding by Ofsted
We hope you find what you are looking for here. If not or if you have any further questions please do get in touch with us. We are always happy to help.

Justin Thompson Project: The Story of My Name As a school we are sharing and celebrating the stories of our names. Please take some time this weekend to share the story of their name with your child. Some questions below to help with the conversation. Who chose your name and why? Does it have a meaning? Was it always like this or has it changed? Do people sometimes pronounce or write your name in a wrong way? Do you like your name? Is there a different way of writing/pronouncing your name in another language? Is there a story connected to your name? We will be having a few children discuss the project and the findings of this in an exhibition on Thursday 23rd October 2025.
Did you know that you are entitled to free nursery childcare provision?
